Unit can produce 50 gallons per day (gpd) Yes… There are lesser expensive units that claim to be safe. Our units are NSP and NESHAP rated, meeting and exceeding those standards. Often with cheap production from SE Asian countries, the materials they use will actually leach back in the critical PFAS chemicals we remove. Other cheaper units only produce 2~10 gallons per day. Ultimately this will cost a lot more. The more gallon a RO unit is capable if producing per day means less filter replacements. In short, our unit at 50gpd per day typically means filters will last 1~3 years (depending on local water quality or pre-filtration). Reverse Osmosis is an investment in your health and that of your families. We also recommend to never pour your RO water into plastic containers that contain BPA. We suggestion also to tie in your refrigerator line to this as well. You will never have to replace the Frig Filter again (even if it tells you to, that is a timer). Recommended to be used in conjunction with our Whole House 1st Stage Duo. Not required, only recommend for bringing health to you home from the moment water enters your piping. Please make sure supply your pets with this drinking water too.
